it will be waste of time for the devs, the free with hl1 engine itself took 5 years or even more to make, and ppl begging for remake with new engine ffs. Read the description on this video that is cancelled project, there will be no remake dont u read info?, not to mention ppl just download for free gives a 0 crap about supporting, the dev also have no reply from valve. Instead, it’s being remade in something like Unreal 4, no clue how far they’re into it, but i think he’s taking donations for it. Andreas (ruMpel) said he wanted to remake it in Source, but due to high cost and no support from Valve, it was cancelled.
